The site possesses 30+ labeled trees, all native. Encircled by the Lake Point Trail, the lake at the western edge of the arboretum often holds geese and ducks. Look for woodpeckers and flycatchers, along with numerous woodland songbirds such as vireos, chickadees, titmice, thrushes, and warblers in the forested area.
