1,428 acres of rolling terrain dominated by two miles of Mackinaw River frontage; 60% timbered, 40% open meadow, agriculture field and interior ponds. There are two ponds at Mackinaw Fish & Wildlife Area, one is 1.5 acres and another, 1.0 acre. Maximum depth of both ponds is 12.5′. Both are fully accessible to bank fisherman. Both ponds contain excellent populations of bluegill, red ear sunfish and largemouth bass.
