For over 70 years the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce,  with the financial support of the Pekin businesses community, has coordinated the July 4th fireworks in Pekin.  Fireworks can be seen from many sites in Pekin, but the best seats are inside Pekin’s Memorial Stadium.  Stadium gates open at 7:00pm, and fireworks start at dusk (around 9:15pm).
